Information for renters

NRAS - National Rental Affordability Scheme is a Government initiative to help Australians into affordable housing. To qualify you must earn below the listed income amounts and be able to provide 12 months of income statements on application and for every year you occupy the property.

Household Composition
One Adult $54,643 gross income
Two Adults $75,548 combined gross income
Three Adults $96,453 combined gross income
Sole Parent with one child $75,601 gross household income
Sole Parent with two children $93,728 gross household income
Couple with 1 child $93,675
Couple with 2 children $111,802

The following income documents are required for applications:

  • 100 points of ID for each applicant
  • 12 months of bank statements (credits only)

One of the following income proof assessments is also required:

  •  A letter from your employer detailing salary for the last 12 months
  • A combination of tax return and YTD pay slips - 12 months required
  • A Certified Statutory Declaration of your income from the last 12 months and 12 months of pay slips 
  • 26 fortnights of Centrelink statements * In the 12 months immediately prior to the date of your application
